How We Rate Online Casinos
Every casino on our lists gets a score out of 100 from the same five checks. Each point comes from a written rule applied to data we recorded, so you can see exactly why a casino scored what it did, and check our work.
The Five Checks
| Check | Points | What it measures |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Paid us | 30 | Whether the casino paid our own timed withdrawals, and how fast |
| 2. Who runs it | 20 | What the casino’s own pages show about its operator and license |
| 3. Getting paid | 25 | The published withdrawal minimum, weekly cap, fee, processing time and how often you can cash out |
| 4. Bonus value | 15 | What the welcome bonus is worth after the wagering, the cashout cap and whether the bonus itself can be withdrawn |
| 5. Games | 10 | Size of the game library, live dealer tables, and a sportsbook or poker room |
The total is out of 100. Payouts carry the most weight, 55 points between our own tests and the published cashier rules, because getting your money out is what separates a good offshore casino from a bad one.
1. Paid Us (30 Points)
This check is based only on withdrawals we made ourselves, timed from the moment we requested them to the moment the coins reached our wallet.
| Result in our log | Points |
|---|---|
| Two or more withdrawals paid within an hour | 30 |
| One withdrawal paid within an hour | 24 |
| Paid, but slower than an hour | 16 |
| Not timed by us yet | 10 |
| Each request with no recorded finish time | minus 4 |
| Each request rejected | minus 6 |
A casino we haven’t tested gets 10, not zero: no result isn’t a bad result. But it can’t score as well as a casino that has actually paid us.
2. Who Runs It (20 Points)
Offshore casinos aren’t licensed by US states, so the least a player should expect is a named company and a license that can be checked. We read each casino’s own terms, footer and about pages.
| What the casino’s pages show | Points |
|---|---|
| Company and license number, and the license is listed in the regulator’s public register | 20 |
| Company and license number on its own pages | 16 |
| Company named, but its pages contradict each other on the license or company | 13 |
| Regulator named without a license number | 8 to 12 |
| Only a seal, or a badge from a body that doesn’t issue online licenses | 4 to 6 |
| Says it is licensed but names no regulator | 4 |
| Site blocked our checks, or no terms page we could reach | 2 |
| No license claim we could find | 0 |
Within the “regulator named” band, a casino that also names its company gets 12; one that names neither company nor number gets 8.
3. Getting Paid (25 Points)
Here we score what each casino publishes about withdrawals, using its main crypto payout method (Bitcoin where offered).
| What we look at | Best case | Points |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum withdrawal | $20 or less | Up to 6 |
| Weekly cap | Limits shown with no maximum, or a cap of $50,000 a week or more | Up to 7 |
| Fee | Free | Up to 4 |
| Published processing time | 24 hours or less | Up to 5 |
| How often you can withdraw | Daily or more often, or unlimited | Up to 3 |
A casino that publishes no withdrawal limits at all scores 2 on the cap. A fee, processing time or withdrawal frequency it doesn’t state scores 1, and an unstated minimum scores 0. A $10,000 weekly cap scores lower than no cap because a large win then takes weeks to collect. Our fastest payout casinos guide shows how long a $25,000 balance takes at each casino.
4. Bonus Value (15 Points)
A big headline bonus can be worth less than nothing once you count the betting needed to clear it. We work it out on a $100 deposit:
- Value after wagering (up to 9 points): the bonus amount minus the expected cost of the required bets, assuming games that return 96%. A bonus you can never withdraw counts as zero, and an offer whose wagering isn’t clear from its terms gets 3.
- Cashout cap (up to 4 points): no maximum cashout scores 4; a cap of 30 times the deposit or more scores 3, 20 to 29 times scores 2, and anything lower, or no cap stated, scores 1.
- Cashable bonus (2 points): extra points when the bonus itself can be withdrawn after wagering.
- Free spins: free-spin offers score 6, or 8 if their winnings have no wagering.
Example: a 300% bonus that needs 40× the deposit plus bonus means $16,000 of bets on a $100 deposit, which at a 96% return is expected to cost $640, more than the $300 bonus. Our casino bonus guide does this math for every offer.
5. Games (10 Points)
| What the casino offers | Points |
|---|---|
| 1,000 games or more (500+ scores 3, 250+ scores 2, fewer 1) | Up to 4 |
| Live dealer tables | 3 |
| A sportsbook or a poker room | 2 |
| Both a sportsbook and a poker room | 1 more |
Games carry the least weight on purpose: almost every casino we review has hundreds of games, so a bigger lobby rarely changes which casino is better to play at.
Our Payout Log
These are the 10 withdrawals we have requested. Times run from request to wallet; three results were logged without the amount.
| Casino | Method | Amount | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| Slots.lv | Solana | $1,100 | Paid in 9m 30s |
| MyBookie | Bitcoin | $4,500 | Rejected after a limit was hit |
| BetUS | Litecoin | $850 | Paid in 11m 10s |
| Ignition | Ethereum | $2,400 | Paid in 41m 20s |
| Wild Casino | Tether (USDT) | $3,200 | No finish time recorded |
| Wild Casino | Bitcoin | $14,500 | Paid in 28m 45s |
| Wild Casino | Litecoin | Not recorded | Paid in 12 min |
| Super Slots | Solana | Not recorded | Paid in 18 min |
| Ignition | Bitcoin | Not recorded | Paid in 38 min |
| MyBookie | Bitcoin | $2,500 | Paid in 4h 55m |
Eight were paid, seven of them within an hour. The first MyBookie request was rejected after a limit was hit; the record doesn’t say which limit. The Wild Casino Tether request has no finish time in the log, so it counts against Wild’s score until it is resolved.
A result shows what happened on one account, with one amount and method. A first cashout, a bigger request, an active bonus or a new document check can all take longer.
What a Score Can’t Tell You
- Whether a game you like is available, or how a casino treats your account in particular.
- Anything that has changed since we last checked the casino.
- Whether online gambling is legal where you live. Check before you play.
When we recheck a casino, its score is recalculated with the same rules. Where a casino’s site blocked our checks, we used our earlier review or details we recorded ourselves. If you think a figure is out of date, tell us.
Commission plays no part in these scores, and a casino can’t pay to change one. See our editorial policy.
Rating Questions
How are casinos ranked on USACasinos247?
By a score out of 100 from five checks: whether the casino paid our own withdrawals (30 points), who runs it (20), its published withdrawal rules (25), the real value of its welcome bonus (15) and its games (10).
Do casinos pay for higher rankings?
No. We earn affiliate commission, but commission is not an input to the score and a casino can’t pay to move up or change a score.
How do you test casino payouts?
We request real crypto withdrawals and time them from request to wallet. We have logged 10 requests at six casinos; eight were paid, one was rejected and one has no recorded finish time.
Why does a casino I haven’t seen tested score 10 for payouts?
Casinos we haven’t tested yet get 10 of the 30 points. That keeps them from scoring zero for a test we haven’t run, while ranking them below casinos that have actually paid us.
