Mobile Casinos: Which Ones Work Best on Your Phone
None of the offshore casinos we checked has a casino app in the App Store or Google Play. You play in your phone’s browser, and one casino offers an Android download from its own site. Here is how each casino handles phones, which browsers they recommend, and what happens to your bet if the connection drops mid-spin.
The Short Answer
Wild Casino is our pick for playing on a phone. It is the highest-rated casino on this page, it recommends Chrome and Firefox by name, and it says it will “pick up where you left off” and finish a spin that was interrupted. Slots.lv’s help page says a dropped connection won’t change the outcome of your game.
Love2Play is the only casino we found offering its own app download, an Android file from its site.

Watch for: The download is an .apk file, not a Google Play app, and Love2Play doesn’t say which phones it supports. We found nothing for iPhone, so iPhone players use the browser.

Browser, Home Screen Shortcut or App?
All of these casinos work in your phone’s browser. A home screen shortcut makes a casino open like an app without installing anything:
Android, using Chrome
- Open the casino’s site in Chrome.
- Tap More (the three dots to the right of the address bar).
- Tap “Install and create shortcut,” then Install, and follow the instructions on screen.
That is how Google’s Chrome Help describes it. To remove it later, go to Settings, Apps, See all apps, choose it and tap Uninstall.
iPhone, using Safari
Apple’s iPhone guide confirms Safari can add a website icon to your Home Screen. Open the casino in Safari and follow the steps in Apple’s iPhone User Guide; the guide also covers opening a site as a web app.
Installing an Android file
Love2Play’s download is an .apk file, which Android installs from outside Google Play. Your phone will ask you to allow installs from your browser first. Only download it from the casino’s own site, never from a link someone sends you, and switch the permission off again afterward.
What Happens if Your Connection Drops
Your spin is decided on the casino’s server the moment you press the button, not on your phone. If the screen freezes, the result has usually already been recorded. Most of the casinos we checked say so:
- Slots.lv, Ignition and Cafe Casino say the outcome stays the same and any win is in your balance by the time you reconnect.
- Wild Casino says it will “pick up where you left off” and finish a spin that was interrupted.
- Love2Play says the game is saved on the round where it froze.
- Red Dog says the balance on its servers is “final and binding.”
Live dealer games work differently. At Wild, Super Slots, Ignition, Bovada, Slots.lv and Cafe, a hand you don’t finish in time is completed for you: by basic strategy at most blackjack tables, while Gold Tier Games tables hit on 11 or less and stand on 12 or more.
If it happens to you: reconnect, reopen the same game, check your balance, and contact support with a screenshot if the result looks wrong.
Depositing and Withdrawing on a Phone
You can reach the cashier from your phone. Red Dog, for example, says to go to Cashier and then Withdraw when you are logged in on a mobile device. Crypto is the easiest way to get paid on a phone, because you can copy your wallet address from a wallet app in the same session. Check the address twice before you confirm: crypto sent to the wrong address can’t be recovered.
Our instant withdrawal guide shows how long withdrawals took when we timed them.
