Best Casinos to Play of Pop Zen Slots
Inspired by Pop It toys, if we can use BGaming’s words, this slot comes highly recommended. So, what’s the Pop Zen slot all about? It runs on the Cluster Pays engine that plays out on a 7×7 grid.
It features Re-spins, Wilds, and Backlit Symbols. Moreover, there’s a 100-point Progress Bar that reduces by 1 which initiates a random bonus every 25 points. Three waves of Wilds will land on the reels when it hits zero.
Also, the RTP is high at 96.25%, it’s a high variance slot, and the jackpot it offers is $240,000.

Pop Zen Slot Review
The betting range is wide starting with bets from 20 cents to $20 per spin. The symbols on the reels include a kaleidoscope of colors interspersed with Wilds.
The low-pay symbols are the circles of various colors, and the high-value symbols are the stars, hearts, and rectangles. We do not have all the facts yet because BGaming did not include them.
When we have them, we’ll update this review accordingly. The hit frequency is 2.08 offering a winner roughly on every second spin. That’s way better than Keeper of the Secret which is around 28. The Wild symbols substitute symbols during winning combinations.
Slot Bonuses Pop Zen
The online slot has an ocean of features including a buy option. In the following section, the USAcasinos247 team puts them under the magnifying glass.
When 4 matching symbols pitch and they form a square they transform in a 2×2 Big Symbol. Any winning combo it forms part of it offers double payouts.
In case the Big Symbols form part of a bunch of winning combos, their multipliers combine for a big win. During a refill, A Big symbol splits into four regular symbols, that exclude wilds.
Low-value symbols will start shining at random intervals. During a winning combination, they’ll disappear, and two wilds will replace them.
If you manage to string more than one winning combo, they’ll apply to all the winning combs. Further, the wilds will hang around, and during the refill, the symbols stay the same.
In case you get a non-winning spin. A bunch of symbols can transform into wilds randomly, and you can trigger the Big symbol bonus.
Symbols that appear in winning combos reduce the Progressive Bar by 1 point up to 100. You’ll initiate another bonus round for every 25 points you decrease it. More importantly, when the Progressive Bar hits zero, you’ll trigger the Pot feature.
The Wild Beats bonus launches when the Progressive Bar drops by 25 points. Wild Blasts transforms 3 to 6 symbols into wilds. In return, the wilds destroy symbols adjacent to them but offer no payouts.
When the Progress Bar drops by 25 points the Smash feature launches. What it does is it destroys the low-value symbols, but it doesn’t offer a payout.
Like the previous bonuses, this feature triggers when the Progress Bar drops below 25 points. In the middle of the grid, the X-lines puts a Wild. Now, symbols diagonal to the wild become matching symbols. If you hit any wilds that are diagonal to the wild, it stays wild.
The Clone feature launches when the Progress Bar drops by 25 points. As the name of the bonus says it clones random symbols and copies them into another matching symbol.
You’ll trigger the Pot feature when the Progress Bar becomes zero. Furthermore, you’ll play with a 3×3 Wild which split into two 2×2 Wilds with the second refill. Consider yourself lucky if they split into 9 Wilds in the third refill, during payouts the wilds disappear.
By now you should know that it’s all about the Pot feature. You can trigger the feature immediately without waiting for the Progressive Bar to reach zero. So, how do you do that?
Easy, buy the Pot feature by paying a certain amount of cash. Keep in mind, that the cost of the Pot Feature automatically adjusts to your bets.
- Plenty of special features
- Some players may find the slot too busy for their liking
Verdict: Pop Zen Slots
BGaming is a software provider of note, and it clearly shows with Pop Zen. They know how to craft slots that appeal to contemporary culture. Unfortunately, we couldn’t test the slots. For the simple reason, they didn’t have a demo game out at the time when we wrote this review.
What we can tell you is that the game has more bonus rounds than a dog has fleas. Since it’s a high-variance slot we don’t think it will be that easy to get into the features. Especially, the Pot feature since it only triggers when the score is zero.
We also picked up that some of the features don’t offer wins when you trigger them. In some ways that’s quite a sneaky move from BGaming. Technically speaking, that leaves players with the feature buy option.
Is it a great slot? With all those special features and a big jackpot of 12,000x, it looks like a cracking game.
